Three players in the final squad of the National Team

Three Birkirkara FC players including Matthew Guillaumier, Michael Mifsud and Luke Montebello have been selected in the final squad of the National Team led by Coach Ray Farrugia for the opening Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Faroe Islands and Spain.

The National Team launch their Group F campaign against Faroe Islands at the National Stadium on Saturday, 23 March, before hosting Spain three days later.

Guillaumier is one of the four players selected who is uncapped, while Kurt Zammit has missed on a place in the final squad after being selected for the first time. Goalkeeper Andrew Hogg didn't recover in time and therefore he is ruled-out injured.
