Kurt Zammit signs four-year contract

Birkirkara FC is delighted to announce that it has reached an agreement with Youth Academy Product Kurt Zammit for a new four-year contract that will keep him at our club until 2023. 

Zammit has been playing senior team football for seven years following making his debut ironically on this day seven years ago. He was included as a substitute in the 3-0 victory against Melita FC in the BOV Premier League match.

Kurt was also the league top-scorer in the historic Youths League Section A in season 2013-2014. He scored twenty-three goals in eighteen matches as the Under-19's team won the league for the first time in history.

This season is his straight third season with the senior team following a vital one-season loan with Tarxien Rainbows FC. He was a regular player in the previous two seasons while he has made seven appearances this season.
