Stripes seek to bounce back

Birkirkara FC will be looking to bounce back from last weekend's defeat and get back to winning ways, when this evening they will face a tricky test in form of Naxxar Lions FC.
The Stripes suffered their second defeat in four matches of the BOV Premier League, when a late goal against the run of the play handed Senglea a narrow 1-0 victory. Birkirkara had registered their first win the week before thanks to a 2-0 victory over Mosta, in the return of Coach Paul Zammit.
On the other hand, Naxxar Lions conceded two defeats in their first two matches but they bounced back with back-to-back draws in their last two outings. Following holding Valletta to a goal-less draw, they shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw against Lija Athletic last weekend.
The match will be played at the National Stadium and it will kick off at 20:00.
