Kurt Zammit to form part of the squad for Season 2017-2018

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy Product Kurt Zammit will be forming part of the squad for Season 2017-2018. This decision will see the versatile player returning to his childhood club as the Club continues to invest in the best Maltese young talent.

Kurt, who is just twenty-one years old, played in all levels of youths with the National Team and he is currently forming part of the Under-21's National Team. He is coming from an excellent season with Tarxien Rainbows, where he was a regular player, and he made twenty-eighth appearances.

Zammit was one of the key-players of the Birkirkara FC squad that won the Youths League Section A in Season 2013-2014 for the first time in the Club's history. Zammit ended the overall top scorer with twenty-three goals.

Before joining Tarxien Rainbows on loan, Kurt signed a five-year contract with our Club in the Summer Transfer Marker for Season 2016-2017.
