Five Birkirkara FC players in Malta A, Under-21 final squads

Birkirkara FC players Gareth Sciberras, Joseph Zerafa, Ryan Scicluna and Rowen Muscat were chosen in the provisional squad of the National Team while James Brincat was chosen in the provisional squad of the Under-21's National Team.

National coach Pietro Ghedin named the provisional squad ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Slovenia in programme on November 11 and the international friendly match against Iceland scheduled four days later. On the other hand, Malta Under-21 coach Silvio Vella named a provisional squad ahead of the friendly match against Cyprus on November 15 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.
