Ryan Scicluna was born on the 30 July 1993. He is another product from the Birkirkara FC Youth Academy that made it with the Senior Team.

Ryan made his debut with the Senior Team on Sunday, 9 January 2010 in Season 2009-2010, when he was included as a substitute in 2-0 victory over Dingli FC. During this season, the Stripes were crowned champions.

He began to form part of the Senior Team from the Season 2010-2011. He scored his first goal for the Stripes on the 12 March 2011, in the 4-1 victory over Marsaxlokk FC. During this season, he made twelve appearances.

Following another satisfactory season in Season 2011-2012, Ryan won his second BOV Premier League with our Club in Season 2012-2013. During this season, he made thirty-three appearances and scored one goal.

Ryan continued to establish himself as a regular player in Season 2013-2014 as he made twenty-eighth appearances, and scored three goals. In the following season, he won his first FA Trophy with our Club, and during this season he made thirty-four appearances and scored five goals.

After he had played for all the youth sections of the National Team, he made his debut with the National Team on 9 September 2014 in the 2-0 defeat against Croatia. He was included as a substitute on the eighty-seventh minute.

Seasons 2015-2016 and Season 2016-2017 were no different as he made nineteen appearances and scored two goals in Season 2015-2016 while he made twenty-nine appearances and scored two goals in Season 2016-2017.

Ryan tried his luck abroad, as he was invited for a number of trials in the beginning of Season 2017-2018 but he sustained an injury and was unable to move for a foreign Club. He signed a fresh new three-year contract with our Club on Wednesday, 13 September 2017.
