Seven Birkirkara FC players in Malta A, Under-21 squads

National coach Pietro Ghedin and Under-21 coach Silvio Vella named seven Birkirkara FC players in the provisional squads for the two European Qualifiers against England and Lithuania and the Under-21 Championship qualifiers against Latvia and Moldova.

Gareth Sciberras, Joseph Zerafa, Ryan Scicluna and Rowen Muscat were called-up by Pietro Ghedin while Cain Attard, James Brincat and Matthew Guillaumier were called in the Under-21's National Team by Silvio Vella. For Rowen, this will be the return with the National Team after he wasn't called up for the match against Scotland.

The senior national team will be in action on Saturday 8th October against England at Wembley Stadium and Lithuania on Tuesday 11th October at the LFF Stadionas in Vilnius. On the other hand, the Under-21 side hosts Latvia on Friday 7 and Moldova on Tuesday at the Hibernians Stadium.
