Schranz and Zerafa loaned to Tarxien Rainbows

Birkirkara FC and Tarxien Rainbows FC have reached an agreement over a one year loan for goalkeeper Philip Schranz, and defender Daniel Zerafa.

Schranz, is considered as one of the best up-and-coming goalkeepers on our island, but with the Stripes having Kopric and Akpan alongside Andreas Vella as goalkeepers, he would have found little space and he was loaned to gain more experience. During last season, he made one appearance with the Senior Team and ten with the Under-19's Team.

Zerafa will be playing for the Rainbows for the second consecutive year. He enjoyed a very satisfactory season during the last season where he was a regular choice. He made twenty-three appearances and he scored four goals. He was voted as the best young defender in the MFPA awards at the end of the season.
