Stripes take on Mosta in tricky encounter

Birkirkara FC will be seeking to end their year in winning form but their task is anything than plan-sailing as they face the tricky task in form of Mosta FC.
Following a very hectic week where the Stripes lost heavily to Valletta FC with a 4-0 score and parted ways with Mr. Giovanni Tedesco, they returned to winning ways in their last match when with a solid display, they defeated Pembroke Athleta with a comfortable 3-0 score.
The Stripes are in the third place, sharing their spot with Floriana as both teams have twenty-nine points, five under the leading duo of Hibernians and Valletta respectively. A win for the Stripes will see them ending the year on a good note and closing to the second place as the leaders face each other in tomorrow's big match.
On the other hand, Mosta are occupying the sixth place, four points under the Stripes. Following back-to-back identical 3-1 victories over Qormi and St. Andrew's respectively, they were held in a 1-1 draw against Sliema Wanderers in their last match.
The match will be played at the Hibernians Stadium and it is scheduled to kick off at 16:00.
