Edmond Agius agrees terms with Birkirkara FC

Birkirkara FC and Valletta FC have agreed terms on the permanent transfer of Edmond Agius. Edmond Agius will be the Club's fourth new signing and the first Maltese player to join our Club during this Summer Transfer Market.

Energetic and tireless midfielder Edmond Agius is the first Maltese player to sign with our Club during this Summer Transfer Market. Edmond is twenty-seven years old and he had joined Valletta in the 2008-2009 season. Last season, he played twenty-seven matches in the BOV Premier League and scored six goals.

Edmond will be the latest addition to our midfield department, certainly rated as the best of the island. He will be joining today's signing Rafael Ledesma, Gareth Sciberras, Paul Fenech, Daniel Zerafa, Ryan Scicluna and Rowen Muscat. The latter is still searching to continue his career abroad.

All the paperwork will be finalized and registered in the coming days.
