Birkirkara Under 19's defeated

A solid performance by Birkirkara Under-19's Team was not enough to take something from the first match of the league, played last Thursday, as they were defeated by Champions Valletta with a 2-1 score.

The Stripes might feel guilty that they had nothing to show for all their efforts at the end of the match, especially since they missed a penalty in the dying moments of the match. They also had Kurt Zammit sent off, after the same player had scored the equalising goal after Valletta took the lead.
