Eight Birkirkara players called up in provisional squads

Eight Birkirkara players, four in the Malta A Team and the other four in the Malta Under 21 National Team, were called to the provisional squads, by the National Coach Mr. Pietro Ghedin, and the Under 21 Head Coach Mr. Ray Farrugia respectively.

Reuben Gauci, Paul Fenech, Gareth Sciberras and Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza were called with the senior side. Zach Muscat, Ryan Scicluna, Ryan Camenzuli and Rowen Muscat were called with the Under 21 National Team.

The senior side will face Armenia on the 7 September, and then Italy in Modena on the 11 September, in the first two matches from Group B of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. On the other hand, the Under 21 National Team will face Ukraine in the final match from Group 2 of the UEFA Under 21 Qualifiers.

We would like to wish the best of luck to these eight players in particular, and to both the National teams.
