Match Preview - Olimpija Ljubljana V Birkirkara FC

Birkirkara FC will be involved in the first leg of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League this evening, when they will play away from home at the Sportni Park, to face Olimpija Ljubljana of Slovenia, kick-off at 18:00 after they beat La Fiorita of San Marnio with a 2-1 aggregate score.

Coach Andre Paus said that “We will play against a stronger opponent, who are pretty good in Slovenian league and for us it`s a big challenge. We must enjoy the game; we have no pressure. But we must be prepared, and we are not afraid of the opponent. This match will be another important one for the club and for the players, because this is also a podium for their exposure to show their qualities in European competitions.

Our aim is to still be in the game next week, after all we will be 11 players against 11. Our players are ready to play this game".

Andre Paus will have available the new two signing Leandro Aguirre and Jefferson Macedo that moved to the stripes last week.
