Birkirkara FC Vs. Balzan FC - Match Preview

by Clayton Schembri - 8th December 2020

Birkirkara FC will be looking to continue improving their position in the league standings as they will be eyeing their fourth consecutive victory in the BOV Premier League and keep their hopes alive, when tomorrow afternoon they will take on Balzan FC. This will be the fourth match for Birkirkara in less than 12 days after they returned from the mandatory quarantine.

The Stripes showed signs of improvement in their last three outings as for the first time they registered back to back victories in the BOV Premier League. When with a goal in each half, they defeated Senglea Athletic FC last Sunday. This victory came just few days after the Stripes returned to winning ways by beating Gudja and Tarxien with a 3-0 score.

Birkirkara lay three points under seventh-placed Floriana while on the other hand, tomorrow's opponents Balzan are in the twelve place, one point under Sirens.

Coach Andre Paus must do without the suspended Paul Mbong.

The match will be played at the Hibernians Stadium and it will kick off at 17:00. Although, we can`t go to the stadium due to Covid19 restrictions, we would like to encourage you to support the Team anyway from your homes and watch the game on live.mfa.com.mt
