FA Trophy - Birkirkara FC vs. Nadur Youngsters FC

Birkirkara FC will take on the Gozo First Division League leaders Nadur Youngsters FC in the third round of the FA Trophy in a match that will be played this afternoon at the National Stadium (Kick-Off - 16:00).

The Stripes are coming from back to back victories in the BOV Premier League as they defeated Santa Lucia FC with a 2-0 score and secured a comfortable 3-0 victory against Tarxien Rainbows FC in their last match. 

On the other hand, Nadur are the sole leaders in the Gozo First Division League as they registered maximum points from their first five matches. They registered a fine 2-0 victory against Ghajnsielem FC in their last league match.

This match will take place one year after the two sides met last year in the same round of this competition. In a match played on 2 December, the Stripes emerged as winners with a comfortable 4-0 score thanks to a goal each by Danilo Chapoval, Marcelo Henrique, Petar Orlandic, and Paul Fenech.
