Esther Anu joins Birkirkara FC

Birkirkara FC is delighted to announce the major signing of forward Esther Anu. All paperwork has been registered in time for the player to be eligible for today's top of the table clash against Mgarr United FC.

The twenty-two-year-old player has been training with the team for the last four weeks and she has impressed the coaching staff with her abilities. She is well-known for her speed and technique.

The British offensive player is capable of playing on either side in the offensive part of the pitch while she can provide additional options as a centre-forward or as an offensive midfielder.

Anu has played for Portsmouth FC in the last season where she was a regular player and a key member in the team by scoring eight goals and providing ten assists. She has also played for Gillingham Ladies FC, Millwall Lionesses FC, and London Bees FC in her professional career.

This signing was possible thanks to the contacts of the club's sporting director, Jeffrey Farrugia.
