BOV Premier League - Senglea Athletic FC vs. Birkirkara FC

Birkirkara FC will be chasing the first victory in the BOV Premier League for this season when they will take on Senglea Athletic FC in a match that will be played at the Centenary Stadium (18:30).
Despite failing to a narrow defeat against Floriana FC, the Stripes showed promising signs of their force for this season as they were unfortunate not to take something from this match as they were denied by the woodwork three times.
However, in football, it's the points that count and the Stripes will be all out this evening to take home their first points of the season before the first break for the National Team commitments of this season.
On the other hand, Senglea Athletic FC, who went through major changes in their squad this summer, registered their first point in the opening match as they shared the spoils with Sirens FC in a 1-1 draw.
Coach John Buttigieg must do without the services of Matthew Guillaumier as the Birkirkara midfielder picked up an injury and he's ruled-out for today's match.
