First appearance from the start for Montebello

Birkirkara FC's forward Luke Montebello made his first appearance in the starting-eleven selection for the National Team in yesterday's match against Sweden in the third match of the UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifying Group F.

Montebello played seventy-one minutes before he was substituted with Kyrian Nwoko by Coach Ray Farrugia. Malta suffered a 3-0 defeat against Sweden in a match that was played at the Friends Arena in Stockholm.
