BOV Premier League - Birkirkara FC vs. Floriana FC

Birkirkara FC will be seeking to return to winning ways in the BOV Premier League, when in Matchday 17, they will take on Floriana FC in a match that will be played this afternoon at the National Stadium (Kick Off – 16:00).
The Stripes suffered their first defeat after six league matches, when two set-pieces were enough for leaders Valletta to emerge victorious with a 2-0 score in last week's top fixture. This was also the first defeat under the guidance of Sporting Director, John Riise.
On the other hand, Floriana FC are coming from a narrow defeat with a 1-0 score against Hibernians FC in their last match, despite a good performance. They will be seeking to register their first victory in four matches as they registered two draws in their previous two matches.
Serbian defender Nikola Vukanac is eligible for selection after he extended his contract with our club earlier this week. However, centre-back Danilo Chapoval is suspended.
