BOV Premier League - Senglea Athletic FC vs. Birkirkara FC

Birkirkara FC will be seeking their third consecutive victory in the BOV Premier League to finish the first-round commitments on a positive note, when they will face bottom-placed Senglea Athletic FC this afternoon in a match that will be played at the Hibernians Stadium (Kick Off – 14:00).
The Stripes registered a hard-fought victory against Qormi FC with a 2-1 score in their last match, as they chalked-up their second consecutive victory in the league, following a comfortable victory over Mosta FC with a 3-0 score. In between of these matches, Birkirkara advanced to the fourth round of the FA Trophy, thanks to a comfortable victory over Nadur Youngsters FC.
On the other hand, Senglea Athletic FC are coming from four consecutive defeats, with the last one arriving last weekend as they succumbed to a 2-0 defeat against Hibernians FC. They have won just one match, that goes back to the 29 October, when they defeated St. Andrew's FC with a 2-1 score.
