Mr. Jeffrey Farrugia appointed Team Manager

Birkirkara FC has strengthened their technical staff department by the appointment of Jeffrey Farrugia in the role of team-manager.

Jeffrey Farrugia needs no introduction to Maltese football, as he is one of the most experienced persons in this department. Farrugia will be taking the role of team-manager, a role that has been void for the last two years.

The Club would like to make it clear by explaining that the appointment of Farrugia has nothing to do with the role of the club technical director, Mr. Michael Valenzia who shall carry on with his role as normal. The Club would like to point it out the role of the team manager was missing and the Club felt the need to strengthen it's technical staff. The two men shall be working together to ensure that the team is successful both on and off the pitch.

Furthermore, the Club confirms that Mr. Valenzia has the full backing of the President and present administration and reiterate that it was Mr. Valenzia himself who suggested together with the administration that a Team Manager was needed to help the team moving forward.

We would like to welcome Jeffrey in the Club's technical staff while wishing him all the best of luck in his adventure with our Club and to co work togther with Micheal and Head Coach Paul Zammit.
