Three Birkirkara players selected with Women U19 National Team

Three Birkirkara FC Youth Academy players have been selected with the Women Under-19's Team for the UEFA Under-19's Championship Group 1 that is going to be held in Croatia between the 1 and 7 October.

Nicole Zammit, Samantha Zarb and Sarah Urpani were the Birkirkara players selected by Coach Frank Schembri for the upcoming three difficult matches against England, Slovakia and the hosts themselves, Croatia. Miriana Conti missed out on a place with the squad due to an ankle injury.

Malta will open their commitments against England on Monday, 1 October and they take on Slovakia on Thursday, 4 October. Malta will take on Croatia in their last group match on Sunday, 7 October.
