Press Release: Jake Grech

In view of the persistent rumours surfacing the local media, Birkirkara FC would like to strongly deny that the Club is in negotiations of any form that involve Birkirkara FC player Jake Grech for a move with another Maltese football club.

The Club would like to make it clear that Jake is not for sale for any price in the January Transfer Market as the Club is extremely happy with the services of the Under-21's National Team player. In his first season with our Club, Jake was a key-player as he finished the team's top scorer while he was one of the scorers in last Sunday's 2-0 victory over Floriana FC.

The Club would like to point out that Jake Grech signed a long five-year contract with our Club in June 2017 and the Club would be only accepting an offer for Jake if the mentioned player hands a transfer request. The Club has not received any type of request from the player.
