Four players selected with U19 Women National Team

Four Birkirkara FC players namely Miriana Conti, Nicole Zammit, Samantha Zarb and Sarah Urpani have been selected in the provisional squad of the Women Under-19's National Team for the upcoming friendly matches against Romania.

The Maltese girls will play three times against their Romanian counterparts in a span of six days with the first friendly scheduled for Tuesday at 13.00, the second on Thursday art 17.00 and the third nd final game on Saturday at 11.30. The matches will be staged at the MFA Training Grounds, Ta' Qali.

These warm-up games are part of the preparations of the Malta women's U-19 selection for the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship qualifying campaign.

The Maltese girls face a tall order in Group 1 as they will be up against hosts Croatia, one-time winners England and Slovakia between October 1 and October 7.
