Jake Grech selected with U21 National Team

Birkirkara FC midfielder Jake Grech, fresh from making his debut with the National Team in the friendly match against Armenia, has been selected in the final eighteen-man squad of the Under-21's National Team by Coach Silvio Vella.

The Malta Under-21's National Team, who are still looking for their first point in this group, will take on Sweden in the UEFA European U-21 Championship Group 6 qualifier this coming Thursday at the Centenary Stadium (kick-off 17.30).

Malta will play their last four qualifiers at home, starting with Thursday's match against Sweden. Vella's team then host Belgium on September 7, Hungary on October 12 and Cyprus on October 16.
