U17: Birkirkara FC 1-1 San Gwann FC

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw against San Gwann FC in the top of the table clash of the Under-17's League Section A.

By this result, the Stripes remained on top of the table, but only three points separate them from third-placed St. Andrew's. San Gwann remains occupying the second place just one point under the Stripes, while Valletta moved to the third place two points adrift.

San Gwann surged ahead on the seventieth minute when Cody Grech's lob ended home while the Stripes secured a point by levelling matters on the sixty-sixth minute thanks to a header by Michele Vella following a cross by Paul Mbong.
