U19: Birkirkara FC 2-0 St. Andrew's FC

Birkirkara FC Under-19's Team returned to winning ways in the Youths League Section A, when two goals in the second half by Nicholas Farrugia and Jordan Sciberras secured them a 2-0 victory against St. Andrew's FC.

The Stripes surged ahead nineteen minutes from time. Ayrton Attard picked-up possession outside the box and dribbled past his marker before serving Nicholas Farrugia inside the box, and the latter hit home with a fine shot.

Birkirkara wrapped-up their victory with the second goal eight minutes later. Attard was involved in action again, as his cross found Paul Mbong and the latter served Jordan Sciberras who concluded past the goalkeeper from close-range.
