Birkirkara FC signs Jacqueline Demuth

by Ayrton Galea - 24th January 2018

Birkirkara FC Women's Team has reinforced their squad with the German striker, Jacqueline Demuth. Demuth is available for today's encounter against Kirkop United FC as all her paperwork has been registered with the Malta Football Association just a few moments ago.

Demuth, aged nineteen years old, is a promising player who joined our Club following several spells in Germany. The former SV Hemmerden player plays as a centre-forward.

Jacqueline shared her reactions following joining our Club, “Joining a foreign-club is a big step for me. A new language in a new country with new teammates. However, luckily football doesn't need many words and the team welcomed me very well.”

She has been training with our Club for the last weeks where she left a good impression. “The training is varied and demanding. We train a lot game-situations, what makes it easier for me to get to know the team and how they play.”

Demuth is excited for this challenge. “I am very excited what this experience will bring, and happy to be a part of it.”

For Demuth, this will be her first experience in another country and will replace the other foreign midfielder Elena Tramonti as the latter has returned to her country in Italy.

We would like to welcome Jacqueline with our Club while wishing her all the best of luck in her adventure.
