MFA to introduce Best Fans Award

The Malta Football Association is introducing the Best Fans Award by way of rewarding the efforts of the supporters who consistently show their loyalty and backing to their club throughout the BOV Premier League and BOOST Diesel FA Trophy for Season 2017-2018.

The Best Fans Award' will be chosen by a panel of journalists who regularly follow the BOV Premier League and will review the contribution of the fans of the 14 top-division clubs.

The journalists will then draw up a shortlist of candidates and be awarded points on turn-out during the season, choreography and good conduct. The award will be announced during the MFA 2018 which is going to be held in May.

Our supporters have always been among the most numerous throughout the years and the Club would like to take this opportunity to thank the supporters for their continuous backing, especially in bad moments.

The Club would also like to appeal to its supporters to encourage the team, while showing respect to their opponents. Football should be a showcase of tolerance and friendship. Racism has no place anywhere, but especially not in football.
