Marlene Christmas Festival 2017

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy would like to thank everyone involved for another successful edition of the Marlene Christmas Festival. The festival was the 27th edition and this year's edition saw the participation of the boys Under-8's, Under-9's, Under-10's, Under-11's, Under-12's and Under-13's.

The festival kicked-off on a rainy Wednesday evening, but the weather didn't stop the Under-8's and Under-13's from enjoying playing in a friendly environment. Mosta FC, Pieta Hotspurs FC and Valletta FC were the other participating teams in the Under-8's section while Hibernians FC, Pieta Hotspurs FC and Valletta FC, besides our team participated in the Under-13's section.

On Thursday evening, Mosta FC, Floriana FC and Valletta FC participated in an Under-9's quadrangular tournament while Hamrun Spartans FC, Hibernians FC, Pieta Hotspurs FC were the other participant Clubs in the Under-13's quadrangular tournament.

The successful 27th edition of the festival came to an end in a packed day on Saturday that saw the participation of the Under-10's and Under-11's. Mosta FC, Pieta Hotspurs and Valletta FC were the other participating Clubs in both sections.

Following every day of the festival, for the third year running, each player and coach was given a Marlene Gift that ties in with the Academy's programme of healthy eating and an active lifestyle.

The Birkirkara FC Youth Academy would like to thank Marlene for sponsoring the festival for the third year, while aiming for more successful years co-operation together.
