Emerson Marcelina moves to Floriana FC

Birkirkara FC and Floriana FC reached an agreement over the permanent transfer of the defensive midfielder Emerson Marcelina.

Marcelina joined our Club in July 2015 from Floriana FC, but he was loaned to his previous Club in January 2016 after finding less space to play. He returned with our Club for the UEFA Europa League matches in Season 2016-2017, before he was loaned out to Tarxien Rainbows.

With our Club, Emerson made a total of twenty-three appearances, while he was part of the squad in the memorable victory West Ham United FC, as well as the historic victory over Heart of Midlothian that sealed the Stripes' place in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.
