Birkirkara FC signs Martin Klein

Birkirkara FC continued to be among the most active Maltese Clubs during this Summer Transfer Market, when just a few moments ago, towering defender Martin Klein signed a one-year contract with our Club.

Klein is an experienced thirty-three year old defender from Czech Republic. The towering defender has played in various top-leagues in different countries mainly Czech Republic, Turkey, Hungary and most recently Kazashtan.

The former Teplice, Konyaspor and Ferencvaros defender moved to Kazakhstan in 2014 where he joined Kaisar. He spent two seasons with them where he was a regular player and made a total of fifty-four appearances. Last season, he moved to Zhetysu in the same division, and enjoyed a successful season as he made thirty appearances.
