Women's Team in UEFA Women's Champions League

Birkirkara F.C. would like to confirm the participation of the Women's Team in the UEFA Women's Champions League for Season 2017-2018, following the decision of the Member Clubs Licensing Board not to grant the Club a UEFA Licence for Season 2017-2018.

The UEFA regulations for the UEFA Women's Champions League do not stipulate that the Club must have a UEFA Club License, and therefore our Club has everything in line to compete in this competition. The is due to the fact that the Club's Women's Team is registered as an amateur team.

The draws will be held in Nyon, Switzerland on the 23 June and the qualifying round will be played between the 22 and 28 August 2017.
