Women's Team take on Hibernians in Women's Knock-Out

Birkirkara FC Women's Team, champions of the BOV Women's First Division League, will take on Knock-Out holders Hibernians FC this evening in the much-awaited Knock-Out Semi-Final.
The Stripes are still fresh from their superb league campaign that saw them winning the league for their sixth time in their history. They completed an entire league campaign unbeaten as they registered one draw and nineteen consecutive victories.
On the other hand, Hibernians finished their league commitments in the second place with fourty-three points, fifteen points behind the Stripes. They enjoyed the best attack in the league as they scored no less than seventy-four goals in twenty matches.
Birkirkara and Hibernians have met five times this season. The Paolites won the first encounter to win the BOV Women's Super Cup, while on the other hand, Birkirkara won all four league matches that were decisive for them to win the title.
The match will be played at the Centenary Stadium and it will kick off at 20:00.
