Marlene Christmas Festival 2016

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy would like to thank everyone involved for another successful edition of the Marlene Christmas Festival. This was the 26th edition and this year's edition saw the participation of the Boys Under-8, Under-9, Under-10 and Under-11 and the Girls Under-17.

The festival kicked off on Friday afternoon with the Girls Under-17's Triangular tournament between Raiders FC and Tarxien Rainbows FC.

On Saturday morning, Floriana FC, Kirkop United FC and Pieta Hotspurs FC participated in the Under-9's Quadrangular Tournament while the same two first clubs and Melita FC took part in the Under-11's Quadrangular Tournament.

The successful festival came to an end on a sunny Monday by the participation of the Under-8 and Under-10 boys that saw Floriana FC, Hamrun Spartans FC and Mosta FC participating in the Unde-8 and the same two clubs with Pieta Hotspurs FC participating in the Under-11.

Following every day of the festival, each player and coach was given a Marlene Gift that ties in with the Academy's programme of healthy eating and an active lifestyle.

The Birkirkara FC Youth Academy would like to thank Marlene for sponsoring the festival for the second year while aiming for more successful years co-operating together.
