Under-15's Team suffer second defeat
by Ayrton Galea - 30th October 2016Birkirkara FC Under-15's Team suffered the second defeat in the APS Bank League Section A, when Valletta came from a goal behind to emerge as winners with a 3-1 score.
Although this was the second defeat as from many matches, one should consider that this year's squad is based on seven players who are a year younger and therefore this is making things difficult for the Stripes.
Birkirkara had surged ahead in the first half thanks to Adam Camilleri's strike ten minutes before the end of the first-half but Valletta turned the score in their favour with three goals without reply in the second half to pick-up their first victory in the league.
BIRKIRKARA: Jake Schiavone, Mohammed Alouzi, Denilson Tabone (60' Chad Sehloho), Adam Camilleri, Lydon Borg, Miguel Abela, Marley Bugeja, Paul Galea, Rowan Cutajar (55' Jacob Bonello), Calvin Mallia, Nikolai Farrugia Cross.
Yellow Cards: Denilson Tabone.
Scorers: 24' Adam Camilleri.
