Under-15's Team beat Lija-Iklin

Birkirkara FC Under-15's Team registered the second victory in the preliminary group G when they came from behind to defeat Lija-Iklin with a 2-1 score thanks to a goal each by Paul Galea and Rowan Cutajar.

Lija-Iklin surged ahead after eighteen minutes with a direct free-kick but the Stripes levelled matters thanks to Paul Galea on the twenty-seven minute. The Stripes had Calvin Mallia sent off on the fifty-fourth minute they still managed to score the winning goal on the sixty-third minute thanks to Rowan Cutajar.

The Stripes will be facing Lija-Iklin again in the next match on Sunday, 25 September. The match will be played at the Melita Grounds and it will kick off at 14:45.
