Four players called to the Malta Under-21 Provisional Squad

Four Birkirkara FC players, Cain Attard, James Brincat, Matthew Guillaumier and Ryan Camenzuli have been called-up to the provisional squad of the Malta Under-21's National Team, led by Mr. Silvio Vella, for the upcoming qualifying match against Belgium.

The team had an excellent start in this qualifying campaign, collecting five points from the first five matches, all played away from home, holding Moldova in a goalless draw, defeating Latvia 2-1, losing 4-1 to the Czech Republic, holding Montenegro in a goalless draw and losing 2-0 to Belgium. However, in the first two home matches, they suffered two defeats as they lost 1-0 to Montenegro and a heavy 7-0 defeat against Czech Republic.

The match will be played on the 2 September at the Hibernians Stadium and will kick off at 18:00.
