Goalkeeper Andreas Vella joins the Stripes

Birkirkara FC have just acquired the services of seventeen-year old goalkeeper Andreas Vella. This is a clear commitment by our Club to continue investing in the best young local talent.

Andreas, who was the target of many other local clubs, has signed a five-year deal with our Club. Andreas, who last played for Qormi FC, is known as one of the most promising goalkeepers on the island. Last season he made seventeen appearances in the Premier League for Qormi FC. Andreas is also the goalkeeper of the Under-19's National Team.

We would like to welcome Andreas to our Club, while we wish him all the best of luck in his playing career.
