Shola Shodiya released

Birkirkara FC has just released Nigerian forward Shola Shodiya. Following a long term injury, Shola was yet to make his first appearance in a match this season.

Shola joined our Club in the 2011 Summer Transfer Market and during his four and a half year spell with our Club he won once the BOV Premier League title, one FA Trophy and two BOV Super Cups. He made 118 appearances and scored 42 goals while he was voted the BOV Player of the Month in February 2013.

We would like to thank Shola for his services towards our Club while we wish him all the best of luck in his future.
