Under-15's Team share the spoils with St. Andrew's

Birkirkara FC Under-15's Team shared the spoils with St. Andrew's in a 1-1 draw in the fifth match of the APS Bank Under-15's League Section A.

It was a difficult test for the Stripes as St. Andrew's are rated one of the best teams in the Section and came to this match in the second place just one point under leaders Pieta Hotspurs but the Stripes produced a determined performance to earn another important point.

St. Andrew's surged ahead on the twelfth minute when off an erratic clearance, a fine strike hit past goalkeeper. However, the Stripes made the score level on the hour mark thanks to a direct free-kick by Michele Vella.
