L-Istrina Football Nursery Fun Event

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy and the Senior Team participated in this year's L-Istrina Eurosport Football Nursery Fun event, organised by the Club's Technical Sponsors, Eurosport in aid of L-Istrina which was held last Sunday at the Birkirkara FC Training Centre and the St. Aloysius College.

Eighth nurseries were represented by 150 children, under-13's, coming together to raise funds for this year's L-Istrina. Birkirkara FC Youth Academy participated in this event along-side Lija-Iklin FC, Gozo FC, Fgura FC, Melita FC, Mosta FC, Mqabba FC and Pieta Hotspurs FC.

Besides the participation of the Academy players, the Club contributed by offering its facilities while the Senior Team players including Fabrizio Miccoli voluntary refereed during the fun friendly tournament.

The President of Malta, Ms. Marie-Louise Preca was present for the event.
