Holders Stripes take on Kirkop

FA Trophy holders Birkirkara FC will start as hot favourites to reach the fourth round of the Malta FA trophy, when they take on the BOV Second Division side, Kirkop United FC this evening.

This should be the perfect opportunity for the Stripes to heave a sigh of relief and return to winning ways following a shocking 4-0 defeat last Saturday at the hands of Valletta.

On the other hand, Kirkop are currently in the eighth position of the BOV Second Division League, sharing their spot with Mellieha and Birzebbugia St. Peters. In their last match, they defeated Bizebbugia with a fine 2-0 score.

The match will be played at the Victor Tedesco Stadium and it is scheduled to kick off at 20:15.
