Girls Under-16's lose to Gozo

Birkirkara FC Under-16's Girls Team suffered the second consecutive defeat in the Girls Under-16's League when two goals in each half saw Gozo emerging as winners with a comfortable 4-0 score.

The match had a balanced opening but Valentina Rapa put Gozo ahead on the eleventh minute as she converted from the rebound after goalkeeper Anthea Enriquez has blocked Maria Farrugia's shot. Gozo doubled their lead before half-time thanks to a close-range effort. The same player made them three nine minutes inside the second half before Rapa sealing the issue with the fourth goal eleven minutes from time.
