Birkirkara in Triangular Tournament in Gozo

Birkirkara FC will be taking part in a triangular tournament on Friday 7 August at the Gozo Stadium. The other teams are the BOV Second Division side Zejtun Corinithias FC, and the Gozitan champions, Xewkija Tigers FC.

Each match will have duration of 45 minutes. The first match will be between Xewkija Tigers and Zejtun Corinthians, and will kick off at 18:30. The loser of the first match will play against Birkirkara FC, and the final match of the tournament will be played between the winner of the first match and Birkirkara FC.

The tournament will continue to build on the preparations, for the much-awaited BOV Super Cup final against Hibernians FC, which will be played on Wednesday, 12 August.

Birkirkara FC Supporters Sub Committee are organising a trip to Gozo for this tournament.

The price of €25 will include all transport, tickets for the tournament, and a BBQ dinner at the Universal Sports. Transport will leave from Valley Road, at 17:45 to to Cirkewwa, then from Mgarr Harbour to Xewkija , and all return trips. The ferry from Mgarr will leave at 00:45am. Please note that the price of the ferry is not included with the package.

Tickets for the trip can be bought from the Clubhouse, Infetti Training Centre and Marica Store (near the Maltco Lottery Centre, few metres away from the St. Helen's Church).
