Under-15's Team open a five-point gap

Birkirkara FC Under-15' s Team moved just two points away from clinching the Under-15's League Section A title when on Thursday evening, they emerged as winners in the top of the table clash against Mosta FC with a 2-0 score.

The Stripes are in the driving seat to seal the title as they opened a five-point gap on top of the table and they just need two points from the remaining two matches of the Championship Pool phase. They can become Champions if they defeat San Gwann in their next match which is going to be played next Sunday.

Birkirkara scored a goal in each half to secure this victory. The first goal arrived after twenty-one minutes when off a corner kick, Ryan Tonna headed home. In the second half, Birkirkara doubled their lead after fourteen minutes thanks to an own goal following a cross by Kyle Mifsud.
