Unlucky Under-17's Team eliminated by San Gwann

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team was eliminated from the Under-17's Knockout with heads held high, when on Thursday they lost 1-0 to the Section A side's San Gwann FC.

The Stripes had a difficult hurdle to overcome when they were drawn against Section A side, San Gwann FC who are currently occupying the fourth place. However, the Stripes were left blaming their luck for not advancing to the Quarter-Finals, after they were denied by the crossbar once in each half. The Stripes were the more organised and disciplined side, and they played flowing football, but a penalty fifteen minutes from time, made all the difference.
