Women's Team targets four in a row

Birkirkara FC Women's Team will start as hot favourites to register their fourth consecutive victory this evening when they will take on bottom-placed, Lija-Iklin FC in the fourth match of the BOV Women's First Division League.

An excellent start of three consecutive victories, including the important 2-0 win over Hibernians, has set an early marker for the Stripes' title aspirations, as they are yet again the main contenders for the Women's League title. Birkirkara have so far registered three victories, scoring nineteen goals and conceding just one.

On the other hand, Lija-Iklin, one of the newcomers in the BOV Women's First Division League, have so far suffered three defeats, conceding no less than thirty-six goals, and they are yet to score their first goal.

The match will be played at the Charles Abela Stadium in Mosta, and is scheduled to kick off at 20:15.
