Four Birkirkara plays in Malta's final squad

Edward Herrera was the only Birkirkara FC player that was dropped from the announced provisional squad called by Head Coach Mr. Pietro Ghedin for Malta's friendly-match against Giblatar. Goalkeeper Justin Haber, midfielders Rowen Muscat and Paul Fenech, and forward Terence Vella were the four Birkirkara players that made it to the final eighteen-man squad.

Next Wednesday's international friendly match against Gibraltar will be played at the Estadio Algarve in Faro. After this game, Malta will be playing a friendly match against Slovakia in September, a few days before taking on Croatia in the first EURO 2016 qualifier at the Stadion Maksimir in Zagreb on 9 September.
