Under-9s in Trofeo Mar Tirreno

Birkirkara FC's Youth Academy Under-9 Section is in Viareggio, Italy to take part in the 10th edition of the Trofeo Mar Tirreno.

A contingent of about 50 persons which includes the players, parents, Coaches Johann Scicluna and Elenio Sciberras and committee representative, Mr. Robert Pace left our island on Friday and flew to Italy to take part in this tournament. The boys were split into two teams of mixed abilities.

The tournament is taking place at the Stadio dei Pini in Viareggio Stadium, Forte dei Marmi and it is approved by the FIGC and by the UEFA. The tournament is being organised by the Eventours.

This will be a memorable experience for our youngsters and it will help them in gaining experience while having fun.
